It's been quit a few months since we posted any pictures. Our babies look so small in the older post. Let's just say, having two has made us a bit more busy than before. I hope to start keeping up with the blog a little better this year. Here are a few pictures to get us started in the new year.

Here are a few pics from December. It is very hard to get Jax to look at the camera so most of the pics are of Jax and Nora separately. One day we will get a good shot of them together...one day.

Everyone had fun celebrating Monique's birthday!

Timmy and Baba had to keep hydrated so that they could take turns taking Jackson outside on the deck in the 109 heat index!

The fish pond was cool, but the hose on the deck was more fun when Jackson figured out how to turn it on!

Shrimp, escargot, crab, sushi, redfish, salmon, and sea bass! Enjoyed by all!

Italian Cream (Monique's request), red velvet, key lime, and 14 carat gold cupcakes satisfied everyone's sweet tooth! Monique even took the last one home to have with coffee tomorrow morning on her real birthday!

After a lot of waiting, Nora Jane was born July 3, 2010 at 3:33 pm. She weighed 9 pounds 8 ounces and measured 22 inches! She is perfectly perfect!

It was a wonderful day!!! Nora and Mommy and doing great! Hope that everyone has a happy Fourth of July!!

Wow.....new pictures. I know it's been a while. But hey we live the busy life and we are always on the go. Jax is getting so big now. We can't believe he is 15 1/2 months now. His vocabulary is out of this world unbelievable. Hopefully he is going through his terribel 2's EARLY! Hahaha yeah right. This kid is really showing his personality now too. Such a blessing to have such an awesome child with another on the way!

It was a bitter sweet day for taking Jax to get his first haircut. All his curls were chopped off. Now he looks so much like a BIG BOY! Yay Jackson and thanks to Nonna for bringing her camera and taking pictures since his crazy parents forgot theirs!

Jackson was Dr. Bennett for Halloween. Cheers to our future doctor! He absolutely loved it when he finally got ready to go trick or treating. Although he was running a 101 fever a little earlier, a little motrin and he was off to making his rounds around the neighborhood. Nonna and Bobba came over to have dinner and watch Jax go trick or treatinng. It was a fun filled evening for the little dude who wasn's t feeling well for his first Halloween.

It has been a while since we posted. But we have good reason why we haven't. Without having the Pasquier's kick us out for staying too long and taking over the upstairs of their house for the past year, we achieved one of our goals in life. We FINALLY move into our brand new home. We love our home. We still can't believe it's ours. Thanks Mr. Mike and Mrs. Donna for allowing us to live with you for the past year. As you've seen it was for a good purpose. Jax absolutely loves it beacause he can crawl all over the place. With the great picture taking skills and awesome camera of my step father, here are a few pictures of our new home. We will post more later as the mile long honey dew list, decor section, gets done.

We had some more visitors recently which is awesome. We love it when people get down to Houston to visit. Tim's oldest sister and her family, the Hooten's, stopped by to see Jax for a few minutes while on their spring break journey. Jax loves his Parrain! Tim's little sister, Angie, stopped by briefly to pay a visit to Mr. Jackson. We miss everyone!

Crawfish Boil

We officially signed a contract last Saturday to build our first new home. We are so excited and can't wait for them to start breaking ground! We looked at older homes but we felt like we came out with the best deal by building to our own tastes. Also, since it is a buyers market out there we got a awesome deal with great incentives. Baton Rouge visit

We went to Baton Rouge last Saturday to Aunt Angie and Uncle Bill's house. Aunt Angies served up some delicious lunch of chicken rice and gravy and then topped it off with brownies and ice cream for dessert. We got to meet little Cullen for the first time. Amy, Jay, Wendy, Bella, Sophie, and of course Pimp J himself Uncle John were all there also. Jackson watched his first LSU basketball game with daddy and Unlce John (booooo LSU.......Hook 'Em Horns) and they won. Sorry but Jackson is a Texas boy...born and raised!

Rayne Visit

We went to visit family in Rayne last weekend. We had a great time visiting everyone. Jackson got to meet his new cousin Audrey. Momo got to hold and visit Jackson for the first time too. Lots of family: Aunt Sheila, Mackenzie and her hansom boys, Kristin and Bryan with baby Evangelene still cooking in the oven, and Blair and Glen came to visit when we were in Rayne. Good times with all.

A close friend of our family past away last night around 7:30 pm. He was Lorraine's Step-Father...A great man! Loving husband, father, son and friend! He battled lung cancer for a little over a year. He will be missed. Please keep Lorraine, Patti and their family in your prayers at this time.

We bought a BOB off Ebay which is so awesome. It's 2 yrs old but only used 4 times! We can now take Jackson on jogs, walks in the park, and basically wherever we want since it's a sport utility model. We've been wanting one of these for a while but brand new they are expensive.
